Hats (easier version)

Difficulty: Medium

You are taking a walk through the forest, when you fall into a large pit. You land and see the eccentric old man again (see three dots ).

"I have another challenge for you," He says. He opens up a trap door and climbs down a ladder. He leads you through a hallway into a large room. You see two people, maybe even the same ones as in Three Dots. There are three chairs, all facing the same direction, one behind the other. The people are tied in their chairs and blindfolded. The old man ties you up and blind folds you as well. Then he says, "Here is the challenge. I have two red hats and three green ones. I am going to put a hat on each of you. You must tell me which color hat you have on."

The man puts a hat on you and takes the blindfold off. You are positioned so that the last person can see the front two, the middle person can see you, and you can't see anyone.

You are just about to give up when you see two hats, lying over in a corner. They are so obvious, you are suprised that you didn't see them before. One is red and the other is green. They are in a spot where you are pretty sure that the person behind you can see them as well, but the last person can't.

Asumming that the hats were placed there by accident, and that they are two of the five original hats, what color hat do you have and why?
